    HOW TO USE?

    • Wash your Gotyu at 30°C before first use.
    • You can wear your period underwear for up to 12 hours.
    • We recommend that you try your Gotyu period underwear at home for the first time.
    • You can wear your Gotyu period underwear as a substitute for tampons or the cup during heavier days - but it's also great for extra protection!

    CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    • After each use, rinse your period underwear in the sink or shower until the water runs clear.
    • Machine-wash them at 30°-40° - you can do this along with your other laundry.
    • Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
    • Hang your Gotyu underwear in a not too humid environment until it is completely dry.
    • Attention: Gotyu period underwear does not react well to heat, so you should not iron it, put it in the dryer or wash it above 40°.

    The body-facing layer is made of 95% OEKO-TEX cotton, 5% elastane.

    The membrane: 95% cotton OEKO-TEX, 5% elastane, breathable PUL.

    The outer layer: 88% nylon, 12% elastane.

    Minerva

    The body-facing layer is made of 95% bamboo fibre and 5% spandex.

    The membrane: 95% bamboo fibre and 5% spandex and breathable PUL.

    Venus

    100% made from recycled materials.

    85% nylon and 15% spandex.

    What is the absorption capacity of my Gotyu period underwear?

    IT DEPENDS ON THE MODEL - BUT DON'T WORRY! ON EVERY PRODUCT PAGE YOU WILL FIND DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT HOW ABSORBENT OUR PANTIES ARE IN TAMPONS, PADS, SANITARY TOWELS AND MENSTRUAL CUPS.

    THE SPECIFICATION IN TAMPONS IS FOR NORMAL TAMPONS - I.E. 1 TAMPON IS THE EQUIVALENT OF 5 ML.

    OUR MOST ABSORBENT MODEL, LUNA, FOR EXAMPLE, ABSORBS THE EQUIVALENT OF UP TO 6 TAMPONS (I.E. 30 ML OF LIQUID) AND IS THEREFORE ALSO SUITABLE FOR THOSE EXTRA HEAVY DAYS.

    OUR VENUS, ON THE OTHER HAND, ABSORBS THE EQUIVALENT OF UP TO 0.5 TAMPONS AND IS YOUR IDEAL COMPANION FOR VERY LIGHT BLEEDING, SPOTTING OR DISCHARGE.

    Do I need to wear pads or tampons in addition to my Gotyu period underwear?

    IT DEPENDS ON YOUR FLOW. GOTYU PERIOD UNDERWEAR CAN COMPLETELY REPLACE YOUR DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS. BUT OF COURSE YOU CAN ALSO USE THEM AS A BACK-UP TO TAMPONS OR A MENSTRUAL CUP.
